[wds id=”3″]

A documentary film features the first English black jockey, Leicester-based Royston Ffrench. The film gives a background to the role of the monarchy in British life and how this has changed in recent decades. Through their well-known passion for sport, and particularly horse riding and horse racing, the film questions the role of tradition in modern British society and how the monarchy, alongside the sport and society as a whole have evolved through the British changing values.
