A documentary following the British boxer and former world champion, Amir Khan. It explores the theme of sports heroes and mentors as a cycle that both begins in the family and transcends the family circle. The film focuses on the story of the boxing legend and his meteoric rise to fame and glory. From the influence of the greatest heavyweight of the 20th century Muhamed Ali who inspired the young Khan, to the role of his father, coach and faith in his life, the film explores how these influences have built Khan the man and Khan the boxer. Alongside this, it looks at how a hero is made and how Khan himself is now assuming the role of guide for a future generation of boxers.
